Each story in this collection explores the many faces of fear, whether it’s the monster beneath your bed, the presence of a long-forgotten friend, or the horror that resides within ourselves.  

When a high school student is partnered with the school outcast for an assignment, he quickly realizes there’s something deeply unsettling about his new friend who has a special friend living inside his right ear. Meanwhile, an overworked office drone takes a lunch break at a mysterious restaurant, only to discover that its menu offers more than just food. An elderly woman, alone but content with her collection of dolls, receives a special gift from her favorite company, one that fills her home with both joy and dread.

A man recalls a childhood trauma that never left him—the moment a strange boy named Pete entered his life and changed it forever. In a secluded village, a long-standing ritual demands a sacrifice to appease the god within the mountain, but what happens when the offering isn’t enough?

A young girl, struggling to accept the arrival of her newborn brother, soon realizes he has an insatiable hunger—for human flesh. Elsewhere, a black cat, ever watchful, sees tragedy befall its beloved owner and vows revenge in ways only a cat can. A teenage girl experiences a terrifying transformation as she reaches puberty, discovering that she is turning into a manananggal—a bloodthirsty creature that preys on the living. One night, a young girl awakens to find a monstrous entity attempting to steal her grandmother’s corpse. Another grieving family is visited by a lost loved one for a final time.

A concerned woman, troubled by the sounds of violent arguments next door, decides to check in on her elderly neighbor, only to uncover something horrifying. A spirit, fueled by vengeance, rises from the grave, determined to punish the lover who betrayed her. And in the final story, a pregnant woman, believing she has escaped the grasp of the cult that once held her captive, realizes too late that she was never truly free. They have been watching, waiting, and now, they have plans for her and her unborn child.
